Rebecca Grisman is Managing Director of Campaign Group, a Sunshine Coast based professional communication company with expertise in planning and managing strategic communications, public relations, marketing campaigns and community engagement. The company assists clients throughout Queensland, Australia and New Zealand from a range of industries, including government, property development and construction, finance, not for profit, charities, telecommunications, IT, transport, retail and education.

Rebecca has postgraduate qualifications in Business and Journalism and is part-way through a PhD project focusing on crisis and issues communication management.

Rebecca has worked for major media in Brisbane and in Public Affairs for QUT, University of Queensland before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 1992 to manage marketing for the University of the Sunshine Coast from its first year. She has lectured in professional and media writing at 3 universities and helped to create the original media studies course at USC. She also established the University’s Foundation office of fundraising and Alumni relations.

Rebecca has since been the marketing director for several major property development companies, has consulted to local Councils for many years, and helped to establish the private Reed Charity Foundation, which donates over $500,000 each year for local community benefit.

Community development and charity support is a passion and Rebecca has served on the Sunshine Coast’s TAFE Board as a ministerial appointment, a business development Board for the former Maroochy Shire Council, the Board of Reed Charity Foundation, and several community-based organisations for driving regional economic development and community services. She is currently Chair of Women In Development, Sunshine Coast for UDIA (Urban Development Institute of Australia) Qld.

She also volunteers her PR support to the Energex Community Rescue Helicopter Service, Reed Charity Foundation, Clubs Smile for a Child Qld, and the Sunshine Coast’s two Special Schools. Each year she helps to plan and stage the Island Charity Swim event which raises funds for disabled children and their families, as well as a series of fundraising golf days, dinners, and the annual Reed Charity Ball. Campaign Group also provides several scholarships and student internships for regional high schools and university students.
