Is there an easier way of recruiting staff?
Boss asks…
When I advertised for a staff member recently I received over ‘170’ applications! I was unable to devote any time to my business during this time and due to the volume of applications I received I was unable to acknowledge applicants either. Is there an easier way of recruiting staff?

- Ensure in your recruitment advertisement that you stress the essential skills required in the job (You will still receive a proportion of responses that don’t meet the skills required but it will be of lesser volume)
- Include a salary in your ad – this will help prospective applicants decide whether to apply or not and cut down the volume of
